The majority I found pretty easily only had to use a couple of hints. The hidden object scenes: I found this game to have quite a few different locations where you either find items by a list or fragmented (pieces of items).
Also after an area is completed it will show completed. It's not like most games where you are wandering all over the place. There is some traveling back/forth however maybe have to go back a location or two. There is also a map however you can't click on it to take you to a location but it will show you where you are and where there is stuff to do. I played expert which does have sparkles. There are two playing modes to this game: Easy and Expert. The graphics I found to be excellent even though a couple of areas were dark but I think that is just to set the mood of the game so to speak. The characters and voice overs I found to be very well done. The story: This pretty much follows the original of the Wizard of Oz however with a twist in here as your helping save Oz from the evil Victor Vile.

Played using Windows 10 without any issue!Ī RELAXING/FUN GAME FOR THE DIE HARD FAN OF WIZARD OF OZ This review is based on the whole game. There is less back-and-forth this time around, which is mostly used to "assemble" pieces of an object that is needed to make progress. There are sparkles to guide you, LOTS of HO scenes, and a map (but you can NOT jump using it). The CURSE OF OZ can be enjoyed by anyone still young at heart. The HO scenes are much clearer than in the 1st game so I didn't even feel the need to use a hint. The "Hint" button becomes the "information" button and clearly defines the objective. Some do require strategy, which are my favorites. Though I really enjoyed ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND, this game has some nice improvements as in the 1st game, the mini-games are varied and generally with just the right level of challenge for me: not super easy, but not very hard either. Victor Vile, the bad character who hinders their journey, is acted marvelously. What a GREAT story/adventure THE CURSE OF OZ is: the voice-overs are perfect, varied, with some great characters who travel with Dorothy and will each play a small part in the adventure. The 2nd "Fiction Fixers" adventure Review based on completed game in a little over 3 hours (no hint, no skipping dialogue or mini-games) in "Regular" mode there is also an "Expert" mode.
